At the end of your three-year Enterprise Agreement, you'll have the option to renew for an additional year or for another three-year cycle. Renewing allows you to maximize the investment you're making in Microsoft®: you'll continue to benefit from Software Assurance, which includes rights to new versions of your software and hands-on IT training, along with your agreement benefits, like reduced rates on additional licenses.
In addition, renewing your agreement helps you build on your long-term relationship with Microsoft. As part of its dedication to that relationship, Microsoft continues to make a significant investment in six key areas that benefit business owners like you:
- Reducing computing costs
- Providing access to business intelligence
- Reducing corporate environmental impact
- Using innovation to grow business
- Improving IT efficiency
- Leading innovation in cloud computing
By renewing your Enterprise Agreement, you're helping your organization save money, foster innovation, and grow your business.
Get the right Enterprise Agreement
When it's time to renew your agreement, you will have a number of options for renewal that can be customized to meet the specific needs of your organization. With changes and growth within your organization, renewal provides an opportunity to complement and expand your current infrastructure.
How to renew your agreement
About seven months before your license expires, you'll receive a Renewal Kit. It includes questions you should consider before renewing, a summary of your Software Assurance Benefits, and an overview of agreement options, as well as some guidelines for completing your year-three True-Up.
You can also expect your Microsoft Account Representative or partner reseller to be in touch with you. You can review your company's needs and any adjustments that need to be made to your agreement prior to your renewal. Keep in mind that renewing on schedule prevents a possible lapse in coverage or benefits.
You can also take a look at the renewal documents, analyst reports, and other resources available on the
Resources Page, which can help guide you through the renewal process. If you need more information, please contact your Microsoft Account Representative or contact our Large Account Resellers (LARS) in Malaysia.
