Windows Vista Express Upgrade Terms and Conditions

  1. Customers must purchase Windows XP within the time period of 26 October 2006 to 15 March 2007 to qualify for the Windows Vista upgrade
  2. Users will have to pay a nominal cost for shipping and handling when requesting for the upgrade media. Below are the upgrades available:

  1. Customers have to verify that their receipt for their PC preloaded with Windows XP shows the purchase date falls between the eligibility dates
  2. Customers can opt to pay the shipping and handling fees via credit card, bank or cashier's cheque, and debit card
  3. The customer must provide the receipt/invoice of order within the eligibility period, Moduslink e-mail confirmation print-out, redemption form, and a valid COA number. In addition, the customer must choose the appropriate payment method and submit the order request within the redemption period.
  4. Customers must make their claim online and send all necessary documents in to the address given to them via e-mail confirmation latest by 30 March 2007 (post mark date). No late claims will be entertained.
  5. System builders will provide customers with a redemption form for the upgrade.
  6. The customers will go to an online fulfillment site (managed by Moduslink - an authorized. replicator) and provide required information and documentation to receive the upgrade.
  7. Upon receipt and verification of all required information and documentation, Moduslink will ship upgrade media to end user.
  8. End users will receive upgrade media 4-6 weeks after general availability of Windows Vista.
  9. Customers must install the Windows Vista Upgrade on the machine bought with pre-installed Windows XP.
  10. Upon installation, customers cannot use the Windows XP pre-installed on the original computer to be installed on another computer
  11. Customers will need to go back to their reseller for any technical assistance. Microsoft will not be responsible for any data loss or hardware damage caused during the Windows Vista upgrade.
  12. Customers can choose when to install their Windows Vista upgrade upon receipt.
  13. Upon installation of the Windows Vista upgrade software, should a customer wish to go back to Windows XP on their system, they may choose to re-install Windows XP initially provided with their system. You will need to back up all personal files on the hard drive before reinstalling Windows XP. Please contact your computer reseller for reinstallation support.

Office 2007 Technology Guarantee Terms and Conditions

  1. Customers must purchase Office 2003 within the time period of 26 October 2006 to 15 March 2007 to qualify for the Office 2007 upgrade
  2. Users will have to pay a nominal cost for shipping and handling when requesting for the upgrade media. Below are the upgrades available:
