When you register with the Microsoft Partner Program (MSPP), you can gain access to tools and resources that make it easy for you to engage and stay up to date with business groups at Microsoft. In addition, there is a Virtual Earth and MapPoint-specific network of people, data, and tools that you can use to increase your revenue and profit.

Microsoft Certified Partners have a high degree of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies. When you become a Certified Partner, you also have access to benefits that can help you gain an advantage in the marketplace. The following list explains the requirements for you to become a Microsoft Certified Partner:

•	Achieve 50 Partner Points for the Certified Partner level.
•	Agree to the terms and conditions of the Microsoft Partner Program agreement.
•	Complete an extended online business profile.
•	Pay the Microsoft Partner Program annual membership fee.

After your Microsoft Certified Partner enrollment is complete, you have access to a range of benefits that are tailored to your business, including:

•	Access to exclusive content on the Microsoft Partners Web sites, including Virtual Earth and MapPoint for Partners, which is a site that provides guidance to partners who want to expand their business opportunities with Virtual Earth and MapPoint technologies
•	Development licenses for Virtual Earth and MapPoint products
•	Microsoft Certified Partner newsletter
•	Virtual Earth and MapPoint Licensing Programs

Update your MSPP profile to include your Virtual Earth or MapPoint solution. Demonstrate success through documented customer references. Click here to download instructions.

To apply to the Virtual Earth and MapPoint Solution Showcase, you must:

•	Be enrolled in the Microsoft Partner Program at the Certified or Gold Certified level.
•	Maintain an up-to-date Microsoft Partner Program profile and include a customer reference for your MapPoint Solution. Click here to download instructions.
•	Include a description of your Virtual Earth or MapPoint solutions and/or services listed on your public website.

After you do this, submit your company description, logo, and the solution summary that you want listed to mapptner@microsoft.com.
