 | Microsoft Malaysia receives award from the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia for our unwavering support for the Global Entrepreneurship Week Malaysia and inspiring grass roots entrepreneurship. Microsoft received the Infinity Partner Award, the marquee award, of which there were only three organizations recognized, namely MSC Malaysia, Senedi and Microsoft Malaysia. The awards follow a strict process going through the Kauffman Foundation, the owner of GEW globally, and Dato’ Saifuddin, the patron of GEW Malaysia. They also received a secondary award for Best Startup Catalyst Award for our outreach to encourage software startups via our BizSpark Program.

 | MIC Accelerator won yesterday the 1st prize in Czech Republic’s national competition Dobrá rada nad zlato (Good advice is better than gold), which is held by National Education Fund - established by Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and European Commission. The Microsoft Innovation Center Program won over 32 other HR and business development projects. MIC Accelerator is running program focused on Students-to-Startup development concept. |

 | Microsoft Innovation Center Tunisia was recognized by National Board of Aiesec Tunisia as Exchange & Learning Partner for valuable support and engagement’ during the Excellence Ceremony event. The collaboration between Microsoft and AIESEC stated about year ago and is fruitfully developing. This partnership represents an important support for Tunisian community activities and contributes to the professional and social development of students and young entrepreneurs.

 | Thailand Software Park (SWP) is a 9-year old government agency under the National Science and Technology Development (NSTDA) Agency, established to stimulate the development of the Thai software industry. On August 26th 2009, Thailand SWP gave to Microsoft their most prestigious award, the Software Park Hall of Fame award in recognition for Microsoft Thailand’s work, contribution, and impact to the local software economy and to Thailand’s economy as a whole. The award was presented by Dr. Khunying Kallaya Sophonpanich, the Minister of Science & Technology.
