consistent support timelines for Microsoft products and
technologies to enable customers to plan their future IT
investments. Get non-security hotfixes during the Extended
Support phase of the Microsoft Support Lifecycle with
Extended Hotfix Support, an add-on to Premier Support.

Receive Non-Security Hotfixes for Issues
Request non-security hotfixes when issues arise during
the Extended Support phase of the Microsoft Support
Lifecycle with Extended Hotfix Support.
Availability
Extended Hotfix Support is available in two ways:
- Premier Support customers can purchase Extended Hotfix
Support as an add-on program for an annual program fee plus
an additional fee for each non-security hotfix provided.
Customers must enroll in the program within the first 90
days of the Extended Support phase.
- On select products, Software Assurance customers can
enroll in the program at any time and only pay a fee for
each non-security hotfix. Software Assurance customers do
not need to pay the enrollment fee.
