Microsoft Academic Days are a series of technical and scientific events regularly held by Microsoft at different locations around the world. In 2005 Microsoft Academic Days will be happening in Moscow, Paris, Lisbon, Istanbul, Saint Louis, Toronto, Orlando, Seattle, and Brasil.

These conferences aim at presenting and discussing actual work and future trends at Microsoft and Microsoft Research in the area of Software Engineering, Architectural Design and High Performance Computing , with a specific flavor around Microsoft .NET Framework and the whole Microsoft Platform.

These events provide a good opportunity to learn about different aspects of Microsoft technologies, but also to meet and discuss with speakers and other academic delegates from universities, researchers from Microsoft Research, and program managers from the product development groups at Microsoft Corporation.

We will also showcase teaching material and practical experiences regarding the introduction of Microsoft technologies in Computer Science and Software Engineering curricula.
