Microsoft organized the Student Festival where more than 800 student were invited from different universities to participate in this huge event filled with activities and important sessions. Hani Helal Minister of Higher Education, Ahmed Zaki Badr Head of Ain Shams University and Karim Ramadan General Manager Microsoft Egypt attended the festival. During the student festival CMIC launched the Internship Program 2008 targeting talented undergraduates in the field of computer science and computer engineering. CMIC booth had captured that attention of many young talented researchers who were engaged in CMIC RSDEs presentations for some demos representing different types of applied research projects in CMIC.
