International Internship

As an intern at Microsoft, you you’ll have real responsibility, real work, and real opportunities to jumpstart your career. (You’ll get paid, too!) It’s an experience you’ll never find in a classroom.

Who is a qualified candidate?

• 3rd year student in Engineering or Computer Science or a related field [moving into final school year]
• Top ranking students with average GPA of 3.0+
• Student recommended by their university for track record of strong performance.
• Someone who is driven and passionate about technology and able to articulate it clearly.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Submitted resumes shall include:

• Graduation date, grade, major, and university you are attending.
• Specify technical skills (including programming languages, technical areas of interest), project details (both within university and/or at any previous internships)
• Please reference any additional projects you’ve taken part in clarifying YOUR ROLE in the projects that you worked on, and what you achieved.
• Contact details: active email address, physical address and current phone number.

The Process

If interested, please submit your updated resume to egintern@microsoft.com quoting in the Subject line: Microsoft International Internship no later than December 15, 2008. Microsoft will be processing requests and contacting selected students throughout February 2009 for interviewing in March 2009.
