Abstract

Windows Millennium Edition is loaded with features designed specifically for home users. A wealth of wizards, tutorials, and a redesigned Help Center make using your computer easy, and built-in system safeguards keep things running smoothly.

In addition to Windows Me makes your computer operate more efficiently, while giving you the latest tools that let you store and organize digital content. Windows Me also guards your critical files against tampering or deletion by System file protection , lets you restore your computer to a previous state of operation if it starts acting up, and even updates itself.

Also Windows Me keeps your system up-to-date with fixes, enhancements, and drivers—straight from Microsoft. When you run Windows Me, watch for a reminder at the bottom of your screen any time you are connected to the Internet, then just follow the instructions. Windows Me can automatically check for new updates, determine which updates apply to your computer, and download them in the background while you keep working. Windows ME Arabic edition is the next release of Win98 SE, So you will find more hardware compatibility
specially for consumers hardware like joy sticks, Windows Media applets, more integration with MSN such as MSN messenger. For the Arabic features, nothing more except that we have fully localized Win ME, when you will have Windows Media, IE, PC-health totally in Arabic. which are discussed in details in the 2nd Section.

Special Review

Arabic Windows ME (Millennium Edition), has all the Features of the English version.Microsoft Windows ME update

The good news is that Win ME Arabic will allow the users to upgrade from English Win98, Win98SE to the Enabled version of Win ME Arabic, not the localized one. In addition, users will be able to upgrade from the Enabled version of Win ME Arabic to the Localized version but not vice versa.

Another important thing is that like Win98 Arabic, Enabled and localized full version, you need to have the Arabic version of Win ME to have Arabic support, Win ME English does not support Arabic and it does not support Arabic out of the box.
