Q.Who is Office OneNote 2007 for?

Gather everything in one place

With Office OneNote 2007 you can search for text within images, and spoken words in audio and video recordings. Search results include hyperlinks that take you directly to the information you need.

Improved navigational views enable you to see all open notebooks at once. Use drag-and-drop functionality to easily arrange and rearrange your notes, and add hyperlinks to other pages in your notebook to quickly jump to relevant content.

Highlight important ideas or actions in your notes with customizable note flags, and manage tasks, contacts, and meetings together with the 2003 or 2007 versions of Microsoft Office Outlook. Two-way task synchronization between Office OneNote 2007 and Outlook helps you manage your tasks and stay on top of important information.

Work together more effectively

Work together from the same information with Office OneNote 2007 shared notebooks or using real-time digital whiteboarding sessions. Shared notebooks enable teams to contribute ideas and information to a single notebook. Office OneNote 2007 automatically manages changes to notebooks whether made online or offline. In real-time sharing sessions, people in different locations can view and edit the same page of notes at once.

Control access to your information by choosing which portions of your notebook to share and which to keep private. With password protection you can encrypt specific sections of your notebook, helping to ensure that only specific individuals can view these sections.

Avoid duplicate work and take advantage of information gathered by others. Office OneNote 2007 makes it easy to gather, share, and store group knowledge.
