This software is made up of four products. Three of them are multimedia software on CDs designed to help children with CAPD using games and entertainment. This ensures that the children will have fun while they are being remediated and educated. Themes and drama help to transport children to a make believe world where they have to fight the evil pirates to save their "ice cream factory". The fourth product is a patient database that keeps track of patient information and game results. The latter will be used by doctors for research purposes.
The trial product offered is the first of the three multimedia software CDs. The full version together with the patient database are expected to be released early in October. This product is the first of the three Multimedia Remediation software CDs. It uses tones and other non-verbal stimuli. It helps children to train and improve a number of abilities like audio memory and selective auditory attention. The final product will contain 8 games each with tutorials. Each game will have a number of levels to accommodate children's improvements and to ensure individuality.
CliniFiler now supports Multi-users allowing multiple doctors to be connected on the system accessing patient records while at the same time working in with their own work space design. A new Secretarial Module has also been introduced to CliniFiler allowing the secretary in the clinic to enter basic patient information prior to the doctor viewing the patient hence decreasing the visit time even further and ensuring accurate personal information.
CliniFiler now supports equations, if a doctor uses equations to calculate certain results these equations can now be entered into CliniFiler once the fields have been filled the system automatically calculates the values. These values can then be charted and if there are standards the deviations from the norm are clearly visible
