Ayman Abdellatif
General Manager - Microsoft Egypt

Ayman Abdellatif graduated from the American University in Cairo from which he also received an MBA in 1986. He started his professional life as a Diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs specializing in political economy. During his first post, at the Egyptian Embassy in Washington DC he was also responsible for the information systems there. After finishing his first post Ayman chose to pursue a career in IT where he served as the IT Networks director in a small company while at the same time studying for a Masters of Information Systems at the American Universities in Washington.

In 1995, Ayman worked as a consultant for small and medium companies before focusing on the US Federal Government. Ayman joined Microsoft Consulting Services in 1997 where his main focus continued to be the US Federal Government for the next four years.

In 2001, Ayman took became the first Director of Professional Services in Microsoft Egypt, starting the business from the ground up for Egypt and East Med. Later in 2006 he became the Director of Public Sector in Microsoft Egypt but not before serving for two years in Microsoft’s HQ in the Global Services Team.

Ayman became the General Manager of Microsoft Egypt in 2009
