Ammar Abuthuraya:

Ammar joined Microsoft corporation in 1997 with a specialization in data access technologies using most programming languages including Visual Basic, C#, C++, C, VBScript. Ammar is a certified C/C++ application developer from University of Washington, USA. He authored many technical articles in both Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) and MSDN, and delivered several webcasts on various topics since .NET was first released. He was the technical lead for PSS webdata team in Microsoft. He was also the previous Microsoft Data Access (MDAC) Product Lead for more than 2 years and was the previous PSS beta Lead for ADO.NET 2.0 (for Whidbey and Yukon). Currently, he is working as the current Developer Platform Lead in Microsoft Arabia based in Riyadh responsible for articulating developer tools and .NET technology in top EPG accounts, strategy and technical enablement on development technologies for top ISVs, broad developer community engagement and satisfaction, academic technical awareness and curriculum adoption, driving broad developer excitement in the market on.Net and MS platform in general.

Chad Z. Hower, a.k.a. Kudzu
"Programming is an art form that fights back"


Chad is the Regional Developer Advisor for Microsoft MEA (Middle East and Africa) and is responsible for 85 countries. Chad is a regular speaker at popular developer conferences worldwide and was once introduced as having "mastered more languages than a United Nations translator." Chad is the author of the book Indy in Depth and has contributed to several other books on network communications and general programming. Chad writes regularly for the Software Developer Network Magazine (Dutch), and occasionally for other magazines. Chad is an ex-patriate who currently lives in Istanbul, Turkey, but travels extensively year round.

Mazen Al-Zoghbi

Mazen joined Microsoft in 2004. He currently works as a Technology Specialist based in the Saudi subsidiary focusing on the Data and Integration Platforms & Solutions. He provides technical and architectural advisory and guidance to enterprise customer accounts, articulate Microsoft product/technology vision to senior business and technology decision-makers and align it with customers’ business needs and objectives. He also works with Microsoft Consulting Services and Microsoft partners on the specification and design of enterprise projects, and the implementation of proof-of-concepts and pilots.

Kadri Umay
"Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler."

Kadri is the Solution Architect for Microsoft Services Saudi Arabia. Kadri has an extensive background in development technologies on Microsoft and other platforms such as major UNIX flavours, IBM technologies and Oracle. He recently has worked on mainframe migration projects and is specialized on enterprise application architectures. Kadri is an ex-patriate who currently lives in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
