Windows Kernel Architecture for Developers

Introduction to Security on the .NET Platform

This preconference tutorial, presented from a developer’s point of view, takes
a broad look at security on the .NET platform, discussing the various
technologies available for building secure server applications. Some of the
technologies that will be discussed include mechanisms for authentication,
authorization, auditing, encryption, and cover various parts of the .NET
platform, including the CLR, IIS 6, ASP.NET, and Windows .NET Server. Attendees
are expected to have rudimentary knowledge of security concepts such as
authentication, cryptography, and access control.
