    Connectivity and branding support

Your financial institution's customers may still be able to connect to discontinued versions of Money, until further notice, depending on the Online Service Policy of their version of Money. However, should one of your customers have a technical issue with a discontinued version, they would have to pay for any technical support from Microsoft.

Money 2000-2006 information has been removed from our branding servers. Any customer who attempts to set up services for the first time in Money 2000-2006 will not be able to do so successfully. For those customers who have already set up services in Money 2000-2005, the connection will continue to function normally as long as your financial institution does not re-brand or change connectivity information.

The MSN Money Financial Institution team does not propagate branding changes for discontinued versions, because re-branding typically generates technical support issues.

Direct OFX APPID and APPVER Connectivity Information

If your 2-way OFX server filters user connectivity based on the APPVER or APPID value, your OFX server must accept <APPID> Money and the following OFX request values for APPVER to successfully connect to your server using Money and/or the MSN Money portal:

All supported versions of Money and the MSN Money portal use:
    <APPID>Money
    Money Plus <APPVER>1700
    Money 2007 <APPVER>1600
    Money 2006 <APPVER>1500
    Money 2005 <APPVER>1400
    Money 2004 <APPVER>1200
    Money 2003 <APPVER>1100
