Special Instructions To Test Branding Files Changes
Microsoft posts changes to our production branding data regularly. This typically occurs on Thursday. Money downloads the updated data file to your customer's personal computer upon an Internet update. Money notes the changes to the branding information for your financial institution, and sets a flag to handle these changes appropriately.
If you are testing changes to branding files for an existing 2-way OFX financial institution partner, you must follow some extra steps to simulate a download of the branding data. These steps are also required if you want to re-test with updated files.
- Replace the branding files as instructed on the Install Your Microsoft Money Branding Files page.
- Open Money and open a file that has previously been set up with Money.
- Select Account List.
- Select the financial institution you want to re-brand in the Account List.
- Under Common Tasks click Connect to bank and click the institution's services link.
- Select For Financial Institution Name under View contact information.
- Select Update advanced Web settings on the left navigation bar.
- Hold down ctrl + shift and then click Restore Defaults.
- Click OK and then click Done.
- Select the New online services are now available link.
- Select the Update Services link to the left of your financial institution name.
- Continue through the rest of the Update Services screens.
