The Portfolio Review page (shown in Figure 12-8) gives you a big picture of all of the investments in your portfolio. The review gives you pie charts that represent your investments and includes links to other areas in Money so that you can quickly update time-sensitive information. With sections on capitalization, investment types, tax liability, performance, risk, and a summary with your major holdings and recent transactions, the Portfolio Review offers many perspectives on your investments.
GainsKeeper®
Microsoft Money has allied with GainsKeeper to provide a set of advanced
tools for managing your tax liabilities that are associated with investing in stocks. A
What-If tool shows you the tax impact of a stock purchase or sale before you
execute a trade. With this tool, you can avoid "wash sale" transactions where
there's no net profit—or loss—and see the benefit from automatic cost basis
adjustments due to corporate actions such as splits, mergers, and spin-offs.
In addition, GainsKeeper can track your cost basis by lot, equip you with stock
trading decision-making tools, and provide you with a completed Capital Gains
and Losses Schedule D (Form 1040) for tax filing.

Special Feature |
| For Microsoft Money Premium and Small Business users,
the GainsKeeper service enables you to import up to 125 transactions at no
cost. |
