Setting investment reminders
Most people do not have the time to constantly keep tabs on all of their investments. To make things easier, Money includes investment alerts to notify you when your investments reach a particular price and to alert you on a date to buy or sell a specific stock.
To set up an alert:
- On the Tools menu, click Alerts Center.
- Click Customize your Advisor FYI alerts, and then click the Investor Alerts tab.
- Click a specific investment, and then select the check boxes for the alerts you want to receive. As shown in Figure 12-4, you can enter specific values for high and low price alerts, and set date-based alerts to remind you to purchase or sell a stock.
- To save your alert, click OK.
