Chapter 5: Getting Started with Accounts, Bills, and Paychecks
Understanding Microsoft Money 2006 accounts
Money allows you to set up accounts for banks, brokerages, and credit cards—as well as for non-monetary items like your house, vehicles, and employee stock options—all in one convenient place, so you can track balances and valued assets easily.

Tip |
| If you want Money to have more detailed information for calculating this year's taxes, enter your starting balance for each account from the first of the year and enter all of this year's transactions (deposits, withdrawals, and transfers) for each account. This feature is available if you are setting up accounts in the Advanced Account Register. |
