Setting up online banking with your financial institution and Microsoft Money 2006

Switch an account from manual to online updates

To set up online updates, you'll need your online sign-in information for your bank. If you haven't used online banking at your bank, Money will help you request a sign-in name and password.

1. Click Banking.
2. On the Account Tools menu, select Manage Online Services.
3. Find the account, and then click Set up online services.

	These are detailed instructions that describe how to set up online banking in Microsoft Money. There are also illustrations of each screen in the process, as well as helpful information on what you need to do to prepare for online banking.

Depending on your financial institution's online capabilities, you can either use automatic updates or downloadable statements.

To determine which service your bank or broker uses:

1. Click Banking.
2. On the Account Tools menu, select Manage Online Services. The features for each account that has online services enabled are listed under Services.

	Tip
	When you set up an account for online updates, Money automatically sets up online updates for any other accounts you have at that bank or brokerage.
