Threat cleaner tools. The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers running Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 for infections by specific, prevalent malicious software–including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom–and removes any it finds.

Spyware-fighting software. Windows Defender helps protect Windows users from spyware and other intrusive software. Continuous protection improves Internet browsing safety by guarding more than 50 ways spyware can become installed on your computer.

These antivirus products help give enterprise customers reliable server-level protection and improved virus detection rates using a multiple scan engine approach. They offer choice and the most up-to-date protection possible.

Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004.
Protect your network, speed up your Web servers, enforce Internet usage policies, and securely enable remote access to your server running Microsoft Exchange Server and other programs.

This online security curriculum for developers and IT professionals is organized around four key learning paths: Threats and Vulnerabilities, Identity and Access Control, Regulatory Compliance, and System Integrity.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 includes all the functionality customers need today from a Windows server operating system to do more with less, including security, reliability, availability, and scalability.

Windows XP Service Pack 2. One of the most important service pack updates Microsoft has ever released, Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes a comprehensive collection of updates, innovations, and advanced security technologies, including a pop-up blocker, firewall, and new ways to monitor and manage your computer's security settings.

Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer. Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.0 is the next version of MBSA, which utilizes the Microsoft Update Services infrastructure for security update scanning.

Microsoft has increased the number of Security Advisors around the world and now has advisors in 24 countries and regions, with more to be hired. These trained and experienced security experts work directly with customers to resolve security issues.
