System Requirements
You'll need the following to compile and run the sample files:
- Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
- Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows XP
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5 or later
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Installing the Sample Code
The download link opens a Web Package executable file containing a license agreement. To copy the sample code onto your hard disk,
click the link to run the executable and then accept the license agreement that is presented. By default, the sample code will be
copied to the folder C:\BuildOOP. During the installation process, you'll be given the option of changing that destination folder.
The sample files are arranged by chapter, each chapter in its own folder. Some chapter folders also contain a Readme.txt
file with specific information about installing and using that chapter's sample code. To use the sample files,
refer to the individual Readme.txt files.
Uninstalling the Sample Code
To remove the sample code, use Windows Explorer to delete the folder \BuildOOP and all of its contents.
