More Information and System Requirements
To build and run the code examples, you should have Indigo and the Microsoft .NET
Framework 2.0 installed on a supported operating system. Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005
is the recommended development environment.
Installing the Code Examples
The download link opens a Web Package executable file containing a license agreement.
To copy the code examples onto your hard disk, click the link to run the executable
and then accept the license agreement that is presented. By default, the code examples
will be copied to the folder [My Documents]\Microsoft Press\Programming Indigo,
although you'll be given an opportunity to change that destination folder during the installation
process.
Uninstalling the Code Examples
To remove the code examples, make the appropriate selection from Add or Remove Programs
in the Control Panel.
Appendixes
Download the book's Appendixes (5.90 MB).
The appendixes include the following:
- Appendix A, "Service Model Classes," is a summary of object model classes.
- Appendix B, "Service Model Attributes," is a summary of attributes and their parameters.
- Appendix C, "Service Model Configuration," contains a list of configuration settings.
- Appendix D, "Svcutil Tool Reference," contains reference material for the Svcutil Tool.
The appendixes are provided in Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need Adobe Acrobat
or Adobe Reader to view these files. For more information about these products or to download
the Adobe Reader, visit the Adobe Web site.
