System Requirements
You'll need the following hardware and software to run the code samples for this book:
Client
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (for the client)
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 Standard Edition or Professional Edition
- Microsoft IIS installed on client machine running the code samples
Server
- Microsoft Windows Server 2000 or Windows Server 2003, or Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition with Service Pack 4 or SQL Server 2005
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 installed and available from client computer
- Dual 700-MHz or higher Intel Pentium (Xeon PIII) or compatible CPU. Recommended: Dual 1.8-GHz Pentium (Xeon P4)
- 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM, 2 GB or more of RAM recommended
- SCSI hard disk with hardware RAID 5
- 10/100-megabit network card

Installing the Code Samples
After you download the code samples file to your computer, run the installer and follow the instructions that appear. The installer will
install the code and configure the local IIS to run the web application samples.
Uninstalling the Code Samples
To remove the code samples from your computer, make the appropriate selection from Add Or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
