System Requirements

You’ll need the following hardware and software to build and run the code samples for this book:
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 (native install or Virtual Machine environments)
  • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition or Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition or Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite
  • For a native installation we recommend at least a 1 GHz Pentium processor and 1 GB of RAM
  • For a installation on a Virtual PC image we recommend a host computer with at least a 2 GHz Pentium processor and 2 GB of RAM

Installing the Code Samples

After you download the code samples file to your computer, run the installer and follow the instructions that appear.

Uninstalling the Code Samples

To remove the code samples from your computer, make the appropriate selection from Add Or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
