Academic Learning
The Microsoft Press® Academic Learning Series (ALS) offers a complete learning and teaching program developed for networking specialist courses taught in educational classrooms. Each title is designed to help students learn to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft® Windows® NT® and Windows 2000 and other Microsoft server applications, and to help them prepare for the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and CompTIA® networking examinations.

Each title delivers a textbook and a lab manual with a Student Supplementary Materials CD-ROM and a 120-day software evaluation CD-ROM. For instructors, a complete program of support materials including course setup suggestions, lecture outlines, teaching tips, a test bank, PowerPoint® slides, and lab setup instructions, is all available on CD-ROM. Written in a clear, straightforward manner, ALS textbooks include numerous in-text exercises that give students plenty of hands-on experience building real-world network support skills.
