Microsoft is pleased to announce the release of Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0. This service pack includes new features designed to help you comply with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

| • | Fix available for Microsoft Vista Service Pack 1 and Windows XP Service Pack 3 issue
A fix is now available for the issue that impacts users of Microsoft Dynamics RMS who install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or Windows XP Service Pack 3. Do not run Microsoft Dynamics RMS on either service pack until you have installed the fix.

| • | Weights and measures certification
Microsoft Dynamics RMS has received National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) certification from the National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM). In Service Pack 2, you can view the certificate number in the About box in Store Operations POS. Or you can view the entire certificate on the NCWM Web site.

Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) has been audited by a PCI Security Standards Council Qualified Security Assessor. While final certification is still pending, the service pack includes a number of new features specifically designed to help you comply with the PCI Data Security Standard.
