To get started with hardware, select an evaluation board or development kit and its .NET Micro Framework software drivers. The table below provides a list of some development kits that might be relatively easier to get started with. Some of these kits include all the software in the kit; software for others can be downloaded from the manufacturer. A more comprehensive list of our partners and their products can be found on
our partner page.
After choosing a development kit or evaluation board, you can add additional hardware through the variety of connectors and interfaces provided on each board. Some hardware may come with .NET Micro Framework drivers (e.g., Wi-Fi cards), while others will require you to add managed code to support it (e.g., a temperature connected over the SPI bus).
