Community Technology Support Network

To help encourage CTLCs to keep in touch following the UP Learning Foundation course, the course will be conducted in one central location - Whitireia Community Polytechnic.  When the trainers return to their communities, they instantly have a virtual network of all the trainers from their course, plus those attend courses before and after them.

This network will have access to online resources and will be encouraged to aspire to developing and sharing best practices.

CTLC trainers will also be eligible to win an award in recognition of their efforts to implement and sustain the programme through the annual Microsoft UP Awards.

The prizes will be monetary and must be invested back into the winning CTLC to support the growing potential of their community, and help ensure the programmes long term success in the community.
