Manawatu Stewart Centre

The Manawatu Stewart Centre based in Palmerston North, New Zealand provides community-based rehabilitation for those who have sustained a brain injury. The Centre is a recipient of Microsoft software through the TechSoup New Zealand software donation programme. They received Expression web 2.0, Office Professional 2007 and Vista and Small business server 2003, which helped them improve Information Technology functionality and skill development for their clients.

Whakatū Marae

Located in Taitapu Bay, Whakatū, Nelson, New Zealand, Whakatū Marae ensures that local Maori and others have access to services and support that is delivered with the tikanga and cultural values of the six Mana Whenua Iwi that the marae serves. Whakatū Marae offers health services, in addition to providing several educational programmes including courses on horticulture and computing technology. They are recipients of Microsoft software through the TechSoup New Zealand software donation programme. They received Professional Plus, XP and Project Share.

Preventing Violence in the Home - Te Kakano Tumanako is a national organisation based in Auckland, New Zealand, that promotes safety by preventing violence in the home. Through the TechSoup New Zealand software donation programme, they received Microsoft software which enabled them to expand  their services offerings.

Mangere East Family Service Centre

The Mangere East Family Service Centre has made a huge difference in Mangere, one of the poorest area in New Zealand, in a very short period of time. The Centre works with children, young people and their families to help address social and economic disadvantage. Through the TechSoup New Zealand software donation programme, all of their computers could "talk" to each other with a common operating system Windows XP and a common work platform, Office 2007. This means that staff can now share documents, collaborate and interact more on the work they are doing.
