How the Facebook App works

Similar to the Facebook site, the app has your key options/tabs along the top, displayed as icons.

The Home tab allows you to see your notifications, and keep up to date on your friend's news feeds, status updates, and photos.

The Profile tab lets you see your Wall, see your info, and browse your own photo albums.

The Friends tab, gives you a list of all your friends, and a quick and easy way to jump into their profile/wall/photos or message them directly.

The Inbox tab lets you see your received and sent messages, notifications and requests.

There’s also a Phone tab which, for the friends in your list who have entered their phone numbers, lets you directly call or SMS them straight from the app. Provided your friends keep their own info current, you’ll never have an out of date phone number again!

The app’s photo viewer also makes it easy to share pics with people around you. You no longer have to remember to copy pics to your phone beforehand, you can just open a Facebook photo album straight from the app and showcase them full screen on your Mobile using a Wi-Fi or data connection.

To install the Facebook application simply:

1. Click here to download the application.
2. Copy the file onto your Windows Phone.
3. On your phone, open File Explorer, navigate to where you copied the file, then open it.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen, and you’ll soon have a Facebook app in your Programs list on your phone.
