Keynote Speaker: Ian Corcoran

As senior director of marketing for Microsoft Business Solutions International, Ian Corcoran’s responsibilities span marketing excellence, product management, vertical strategy, PR and competition. He also develops customer and revenue growth strategies that enhance and maximise customer lifetime value.

Corcoran brings to Microsoft over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in enterprise software, business equipment and consumer goods. Before joining Microsoft, he was vice president at SAP AG, with responsibility for marketing for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. At SAP, he led a number of key initiatives and strategies for small and medium-sized business, including channel development, lead generation services and product marketing. He was a major business leader in SAP’s move to the mid-market space.

Before joining SAP, Corcoran was director of marketing for Sage Plc where he was responsible for driving the business strategy, for both the customer and new acquisition parts of the business, that enabled strong continual year-on-year growth for the company.

Initially, Corcoran’s background was in consumer and business equipment where he held differing sales and marketing management positions in such organisations as Sharp Corp and Philips.
