Deployment Fund Distributes More Than NZD$320,000

Four government agencies have successfully gained a total of $320,000 of funding in the latest round of Microsoft Deployment Funding.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade were awarded $50,000 to work with Microsoft Consulting Services in deploying MS OCS. This solution will enhance communication among the Ministry’s 59 locations around the world.

Awarded $100,000, Industrial Research will work with Provoke Solutions in deploying Windows Sever 2008, MOSS, Silverlight, SQL Server 2008 to redevelop their website. This project aims to increase communication between researchers and the wider public community.

Meanwhile, New Zealand Lotteries will be upgrading their desktop environment to Vista and Office 2007 as well as deploying Visio 2007 and Project 2007.

Finally, Hutt City Council gained $70,000 to implement a new CRM system to enable better relations between the Council and the wider community.
