NZ Fire Service Launches into PoC

The New Zealand Fire Service is announcing their successful application to the Microsoft Innovation Centre.

Working with Datacraft and MCS, NZ Fire have been awarded almost $100,000 to develop a proof of concept ‘Secure Automated Government Address Book’. This prototype will show how MS ILM can be used to provide secure storage and presentation of government staff contact information. It will also showcase the collaboration benefits gained from providing immediate access to external contact data within internal systems.

A Kick Start Pack containing the free IP from this project will be made available to government agencies and partners working upon completion.
