 Microsoft Deployment Fund Injects more than $320,000 into Government Five government agencies have been successful in gaining a total of more than $320,000 in the final round of Microsoft Deployment Funding under the G2006 agreement. Gaining $50,000, Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) are being funded to work together with Microsoft Consulting Services for their ASPIRE project. Wairarapa District Health Board together with Altis Consulting have also been funded $50,000 to improve management reporting capability in order to better understand what is happening in the organisation and to drive performance improvement. Successful in gaining $100,000, recently merged Plant and Food will work with Intergen to pilot the use of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for their new intranet. HealthAlliance together with Microsoft Consulting Services will be working on a desktop refresh. Gaining $60,000 in funding, this organisation will be deploying Windows XP, Office 2007 and System Centre Config Manager. Finally, Porirua City Council has been funded $60,175 to work with Gen-i to deploy a Unified Communications solution. Next | Home
