MOSS for Public Records Act

Microsoft New Zealand is pleased to announce the availability to all our Government customers of the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007(MOSS) PRA Kick Start Pack.

The purpose of the Kick Start Pack is to enable you and your organisation to implement compliance based requirements, in support of the Public Records Act. The Pack is designed to help ensure you have the correct people, processes and systems in place to be able to provide a PRA capable solution using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

The Kick Start Pack provides frameworks, guidance, samples & examples, including:

How MOSS can meet PRA requirements

How Information architecture processes can be mapped in MOSS

PRA specific 'code' / Features for MOSS, necessary to make SharePoint 2007 support PRA requirements

A technical description of the extensibility features required

A Pre-configured Team site that can be used to demonstrate the functionality
