 NZ Police Succeed in Final Innovation Fund Round New Zealand Police are the sole recipients of funding in the final round of Innovation Funding under the G2006 agreement. This innovative proof of concept will see Microsoft Consulting Services work together with Intergen to develop a solution that will enable Police Officers to be tracked individually using GPS from Windows Mobile 6, Mobile OCS and GIS maps. Competing against five other applications, Police have received a total of $15,000 to have their proof of concept solution scoped. If they’re successful in this stage of the process, they will go on to have their prototype solution funded by Microsoft.
