[+] Security
The most secure computer is a disconnected computer, but that's not the reality of modern business. In today's connected world IT Security is more critical than ever. We have applications serving critical data to thousands of people, and millions of dollars worth of intellectual property to protect, and it's all connected to the Internet. With regulatory compliance and protecting privacy being at the top of everyone's To-Do list, you need to know how to protect these critical assets. With ever increasing demands for accessibility to data in and out of the office we can't just focus on the data at rest in our nice cosy data centres anymore. We must protect our critical data on the wire, in the air and on the mobile devices that carry so much of it beyond our corporate networks.

Learn how to protect your critical data in the connected world. Look at network protection, wireless security, and protecting data on the mobile devices that have enabled business beyond the office. In the Security track we'll show you how to protect your networks, and safeguard your mission critical data in-house and beyond. We'll also look at how to prevent leaks from your people, and what Microsoft is doing in the future to make IT Security a lot easier to manage. So strap yourselves in as we look at the shady side of the internet and show you how you can prevent from ending up a statistic on the stolen data and privacy violation scoreboards.

[+] SOA & Business Processes
Service orientation is a methodology for encapsulating, developing, maintaining, and deploying standalone and connected applications. Each resource, whether an application, a sub system, device, or even an individual class can be exposed as a service and composed into new dynamic applications, all based on industry standards.

Complementing the methodology is an impressive array of Microsoft offerings covering application messaging, integration, and workflow technologies. This track covers the entire spectrum, from the well established Microsoft BizTalk Server, Windows Communication Foundation, and Windows Workflow Foundation to the emerging technologies of Windows Cardspace for identity management and BizTalk Services for peer connections. Also learn about the relevant enhancements in the .NET Framework 3.5, BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and essential best practices, all from the top speakers and experts in our industry, sharing their perspectives, real-life experience, and the road ahead.

If your job is to build, test, deploy or manage such applications, the SOA and Business Processes track is for you.
[+] Voice of the Customer
In this track you will hear genuine examples from customers, often with the help of partners, realising the potential of their technology investments solving real issues to meet their business objectives.

The presentations in this track will be from both public and private sector customers as well as a range of vertical market customers, all highlighting a variety of business problems that they have addressed and solved.

We also have examples of customers who have approached similar issues using very different approaches - here's your chance to compare those different approaches and consider how they would work in your organisation or how they would work for your customers if you are a Microsoft partner.

These tracks are business issue and business driver specific not 'technology' specific - so they tend to cover the widest range of technologies. We fully expect them to provide insights into how different technologies work together to meet business objectives.
