Yahoo! Mail

There are three ways to access your Yahoo! Mail account from your smartphone:
Yahoo! Go gives you seamless and personalized communication, entertainment, and information experiences, optimized for mobile devices. It includes Contacts, Photos, Messenger and Yahoo! Mail.

To download Yahoo! Go:

  • Connect your smartphone to your PC, using a USB cable.
  • On your smartphone, press Start and scroll to ActiveSync.
  • From your PC, visit http://go.connect.yahoo.com/go/mobile/on_your_mobile, and download and open the Yahoo! Go .EXE file.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to automatically install Yahoo! Go on your smartphone.
  • Click the button on the screen to learn how to set up Yahoo! Go with your personal preferences.
If you subscribe to Yahoo! Mail Plus, which has a yearly charge of $19.99, you can access Yahoo! Mail on your mobile device without downloading Yahoo! Go. To make sure you are set up for this, log into your Yahoo! Mail Plus account on the Internet, go to the Mail Delivery Status page, choose Mail Options, and check the POP access option.

To configure Yahoo! Mail on your smartphone:

  • Press Start and scroll to Messaging.
  • Select Outlook E-mail > Menu > Options > New Account.
  • Enter your e-mail address
  • In the Auto configuration screen, wait until the Status changes from Connecting to Completed.
  • Enter your name, user name, and password.
  • Select Next.
  • Select Finish.
  • Select Yes to confirm that you would like to download mail for this new account now.
To view your latest messages on your smartphone, select Menu > Send/Receive.
