This privacy statement explains data collection and use practices of the Microsoft OEM Partner Center website (the "Site"); it does not apply to other online or offline Microsoft sites, products or services. Collecting Your Personal Information

We will collect personal information if you choose to register on the Site. The personal information we collect includes your name, company name, address, telephone number, email address, company URL, country or location, phone, fax, professional information, and language. We may collect other information when needed to provide a service you request.

If you supply your fax number, we will consider your submission as consent to receiving faxes from Microsoft in the future.

We also collect certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, domain name, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site.

Microsoft keeps track of the pages our customers visit within the Site, in order to determine what pages and services are the most popular. This data is also used to deliver customized content and advertising to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Use of Your Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:
  • To make the Site easier for you to use by not making you enter your personal information more than once.
  • To help you quickly find software information, services, or Microsoft OEM System Builder Program information.
  • To help us create and deliver content most relevant to you.
  • To alert you to product upgrades, special offers, updated information, and other new services from the Microsoft OEM System Builder Program.

We will merge site-visitation data with anonymous demographic information for research purposes, and we may use this information in aggregate to provide more relevant content. We also combine site-visitation data with your personal information in order to provide you with personalized content.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services, sending postal mail, and processing event registration. We will only provide those companies with the information they need to deliver the service. Access to Your Personal Information

In order to update your Microsoft Partner profile, you will need to go to: and click on the Manage Your Profile link in the footer area of the page. You will be routed to the Microsoft Partner site where you can update your information, which in turn will update this information on the OEM Partner Center website.
