Selling the new Office

When you sell a PC with the new Office, you’re helping customers experience the most powerful Office yet. Most customers expect Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to be included with a new PC, and they are five times more likely to purchase Office if you recommend it. Here is a simple four-step process to help you drive Office sales.

  1. Always ask for the sale.
  2. Qualify the customer and number of devices that will be used with Office.
  3. Recommend the right version of Office.
  4. Help the customer get started.

Getting started with the new Office

There are four simple steps to get started:

  1. For customers who are using a new PC, click the Office icon, click Activate, and then move to step 2.
For customers using a device that is not a PC, go to office.com/setup and then move to step 2.
  2. Type the Product Key.
  3. Sign in or create an account.
  4. Activate Office.

Get acquainted with some of the benefits of the new Office, and learn 10 things you’ll never have to say again.
