Registering Your Company The first person from your company to register on this site should be an account administrator. Select this person with care since he or she will be responsible for setting up other users within your company. After the account administrator has registered, additional users can be added (or removed) easily in the Update Your Profile section of the site.

Windows Live ID The OEM Partner Center Web site uses Windows Live ID to authenticate users.

Viewing Problems If you experience difficulties viewing our content or images, be sure you have installed the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Access Problems

  • If you have multiple Windows Live IDs and are unsure about which one to use to access the OEM Partner Center Web site, contact msoemnet@microsoft.com and we will assist you.
  • If you are using a proxy server or firewall, you will need to bypass it in order to access the registered-only view of the OPC site. To do bypass a proxy server or firewall:
    • In Internet Explorer 7.0, click Tools and Internet Options.
    • Select the Connections tab.
    • Click LAN Settings and then click Advanced.
    • In the Exceptions text box, type *.microsoft.com and *.mslicense.com.

For other versions of Internet Explorer, please refer to the Help menu for security settings.

Security To protect your user information, portions of the OPC Web site are secure. If you receive the error message "A connection with the server could not be established" when attempting to access the site:

  • In Internet Explorer, click Tools and Internet Options.
  • Select the Connections tab.
  • Click LAN Settings and then click Advanced.
  • Under Servers, select Use the same proxy server for all protocols.
