  Question
I have a long column of numbers, including many blank cells. I need to
remove the blank cells (delete and close up), or alternatively produce a
second (shorter) column containing only the list of numbers with no blank
cells.

  Answer
Use Data/AutoFilter on this column, choosing Blanks. Then delete the rows.
