  Question
I went to PAGE SETUP, then SHEET, and there was no place that said "Print
Gridlines?" The gridlines "show" on the screen, but I can't get it to print
out???

  Answer
  Look again.
File>PageSetup>Sheet
In the "Print" section there should be 4 or 5 checkboxes. One of those is
"Gridlines". Check it.

Under the Page Set Up, it says "Document Grid"
Under Grid there are four things to check:
No Grid, Specify line grid only (which is checked), Specify line & character
grid, Text Snap to character grid
I could not find anything else. What am I doing wrong?

Are we talking about Excel for Windows? or Mac?

If Mac, sorry, I don't know what to tell you. We've evidently got very
different options.

If windows, what version???? I've never seen what you are describing in any
version of Excel in the last 12 years. Do you have some sort of "helpful"
3rd party add-in installed that may have changed your available options?

  Hi "BigRed",
How about an option listed as "Gridlines" under the heading "Print"

If you want to ensure that you print borders you should chose borders for
your cells, as gridlines are overridden by cells with borders or
interior (pattern) color.

Thanks Muddan, but it did not seem to help. My chart was originally a MS
Works spreadsheet which I wanted to transfer to MS Excel. This may not be
possible, or I have done something wrong. Any suggestions? 'The Whits'

Muddan, since sending the previous reply, I tried printing my chart and low
and behold it printed all the grid lines perfectly. Odd!
