  Question
I have just learned out how to use functions but still need some help please.
I have just used the PROPER function to convert a column of 11000 names from
all capital letters to the normal first letter capital with the rest being
lower case. I now want to delete the original column, but when I do the
"PROPER" column says REF#. How do I solve this problem?

  Answer
Select the column you just made, then right-click and copy then Paste
Special and select Values. That should do it for you
