I use the monthly calendar view in Outlook 2003 to manage my schedule but I
often have more items in a single day than will display in the box for that
day. How can I display more items per day in the monthly calendar view?
Due to the size of the grid, you are limited in how many items display -
you'll need to use a daily view to see more.

If your problem is the weekends, you can decompress these days in VIEW -
ARRANGE BY - CURRENT VIEW - CUSTOMIZE CURRENT VIEW - OTHER SETTINGS - uncheck
the box COMPRESS WEEKEND DAYS.
