How do I turn off the "ghost" message alert? in Outlook General Questions

  Question
  We were just updated to Outlook 2003 and want to know how to turn off the
message alert - "ghost" that fades away.

  Answer
  Right click the Outlook icon in the Notification Area and deselect Show New
Mail Desktop Alert.

  In Outlook 2003, how can you have the display alert remain on the top of your
desktop until you see it? If you're away from your computer and the "ghost"
comes and goes, there is no display in this version of Outlook that I can
find.
