  Question
I have to mass e-mail a promotion, but can't seem to find the mail merge
option. In Office 2003, it was under the tools menu and the cursor had to be
inside the e-mail message in order to activate.

Help Please!!!

I think you do mail merges from within Word now. If you type 'mail merge'
into the Help tool in Outlook it should point you in the right direction

  Answer
Outlook 2007 still has a Tools | Mail Merge command in any Contacts folder.

Thanks for the prompt response. And yes...the mail merge is now through Word
(it took me a while). Honestly, it's disappointing that it's not directly
from Outlook anymore (it was faster to access).

The mail merge from Contacts is useful only if all emails areactually in
Outlook, but mine are not necessarily available in my Outlook Contacts.

Thanks again!

I have the same problem...trying to merge an excel address list with an
outlook Email for an Email merge. The Email merge in Outlook is only for
existing Outlook contacts...nor does word do it. Now what? Why was this
function removed? This must go out tonite and it is hard to uninstall 2007,
then reinstall 2003.

What's the problem? (in Word 2007) Mailings tab, Select Recipients, Use
Existing List....find your Excel spreadsheet...create your merge
document...start mail merge | E-mail Messages....

Is that not working for you?

Hey Vince (if this is indeed the Vince who works with AnimeNEXT),

Is it possible to add an attachment to the email before it goes out?
