  Question
How can I put a "Draft" watermark on my powerpoint slides? My boss doesn't
want something "whimpy" in the header or footer. He wants it WORD style,
transparent in the background. If there is no funcionality for this in
PowerPoint, How can I export the Presentation right to WORD as whole slides
and not the pages formatted for notes that PowerPoint gives you?

Use View/Master/Slide Master and add a textbox with DRAFT in the appropriate
font and color (usually a light grey will be appropriate). Rotate it as
desired.

You can also do File/Send to Word and choose the "lines below slides"
option. You'd delete the lines and resize the slide thumbnail and paper
orientation in Word, but I don't think the DRAFT watermark will show through
the slide thumbnail...

  Answer
I usually use the WordArt style that starts at the bottom left and moves
towards the top right at an angle (second from top left choice) with a gray
background color and no line color on the Slide Master.

  Kimber,
If you want text:
Go to View - master - slide master. Make a textbox and type your text, apply
any formatting you want, drag with the green circle above your textbox which
allows you to rotate at will. Leave the slidemaster. Your text should now be
in the background of all your slides.
