Sarah,
Don't know what version of PPT you are using, but in PPT 2002/2003 there
should be a task pane Slide design, in the available section the blank
design should be there. If you choose Format - slide design it should just
call the task pane. If you hover over the thumbnails the name of the design
will appear. In PPT 2003 slide designs are arranged according to their color
blue, green, orange, red, black, white. But I think blank design should be
at the very top, at least it is here.
